Riser height, fit and mattress size

The height of the mattress profile determines whether a fitted sheet will fit your mattress. With a height of 33–35 cm, our manufacturers cover most mattresses — from standard (20 cm) to comfort height (30 cm). For box spring beds with a topper over 30 cm, we recommend a flat linen fitted sheet instead, which can be tucked in easily.

The elasticated edge on linen fitted sheets sits slightly tighter than on jersey sheets, as linen fabric is less stretchy. This has an advantage: the sheet remains taut even with restless sleepers and does not form creases in the middle.

Available sizes: 90x200, 100x200, 120x200, 160x200, 180x200 and 200x200 cm. Exact availability varies depending on the manufacturer and colour.

Why it matters

The fitted sheet is the surface you lie on all night. If linen above and cotton below — you feel the break. Linen fitted sheets: same coolness, same moisture regulation, same dry-on-skin feel on both sides. Elastic bands for mattresses up to 30 cm including topper.

Colours and combinations

Same colour families as bed linen: Heritage White, Oyster, Flax, Natural. The recommendation: sheet one shade darker than duvet cover — Flax under Heritage White, Natural under Oyster. Creates depth. Or monochrome — calmest option, especially with a contrasting bedspread on top.
