Libeco offers bedspreads in three materials: pure linen, linen-wool and linen-cotton. Geniksa focuses on one: pure linen, pre-washed, heavy.
The difference shows in the hand feel. A Libeco bedspread in stonewashed linen drapes softly and casually. A Geniksa bedspread sits on the bed — with weight, with texture, with the character of a fabric that works. On a made bed, it creates a smooth, calm surface. Not decorative in the sense of pattern or colour — decorative in the sense of order and clarity.
Geniksa bedspreads come in the Heron, Caroline, Jungle and Scotia collections — each available in up to 12 sizes from 135x200 to 320x260 cm. This covers every bed width from single to king size.
On the bed: Over the Geniksa bedding, tucked under the pillows. The bedspread should overhang on three sides. For a 160 cm double bed, we recommend at least 260x260 cm.
On the sofa: Draped loosely over the armrest or used as a throw. The pure linen is lighter than Libeco linen-wool — ideal for summer.
On the floor: As a picnic blanket, play mat or garden throw. Geniksa linen is robust, dirt-resistant and washable.
