The 2017 Spring Collection by Christian Fischbacher

Christian Fischbacher’s spring 2017 collection is a modern interpretation of Art Deco.

Christian Fischbacher’s spring 2017 collection entices with extraordinary designs. The designers demonstrate their style and creativity with the flagship model “Avantgardening,” as well as with the models “Selvados,” “Sir,” “Gentleman,” “Lord,” “Romanum,” and “Satin-Dessins Persis.” Its exclusive jacquard models include “Belle Epoque” and “Cloqué Maritim,” while the “Tausendschön” product is also available in satin.

“Avantgardening” from Christian Fischbacher is the flagship model of the Spring/Summer 2017 collection. The motif reflects the modern sophistication of old paintings and drawings from the New York Public Library and the precious archives of the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam. The exotic design is an interplay of many components. Unique Art Deco elements in the form of light peacock feathers in the background, combined with birds, flamingos, monkeys, and butterflies, bring the design, printed using a 12-stencil technique, to life on fine Swiss satin.

“Selvados” captivates with the designer’s special attention to detail. Hand-embroidered designs conjure up a mixture of flora and fauna on the bed linen. Butterflies, birds, flowers, and leaves make this model a distinctive work of art. The high quality of Christian Fischbacher is particularly evident in this bed linen. The linen bed linen is custom-made using hand-guided machines.

Rome Eternal

The “Romanum” bed linen is something very special in Christian Fischbacher’s 2017 spring collection. Here, the unique eternal city is honored in a completely different way. A historical collage has been transformed into a truly wonderful spectacle of color using modern and delicate watercolors. A design that combines two different worlds into a dreamlike backdrop. The reflection of the Romanum, located on the river, shows a sketch of an English-inspired garden on the duvet cover. The pillowcases of the bed linen are kept neutral in white.

We all live…

“Submarine” is one of Christian Fischbacher’s exotic and extravagant designs. The design depicts a vibrant underwater world reminiscent of the dreamlike coral reefs of the Caribbean. Unusual fish motifs swim across the white cotton satin bed linen. The coral in the background gives the design an almost three-dimensional effect. The designer’s creativity, lightly inspired by the New York Public Library archives, can be seen in the “Submarine” model.
