Description
Heron, a warm dark grey in linen
Dark grey linen can look severe. Heron, however, keeps a warmth that dresses a festive table as easily as an ordinary weekday supper. Its 240 g/m² make the cloth heavy, so it lies smooth and falls at the sides in a noble drape. The yarn measures Nm 26. Over time, the dense flax fibre grows softer with every wash, while its ability to repel dirt stays. Finishing is purely mechanical. Because grey supports colourful tableware so readily, Heron works with almost any service. Runners, placemats and napkins extend the look, and the design sits in the Geniksa tablecloths collection.

Care
Heron counts as coloured linen, so 60 degrees marks its upper limit, while white pieces could take 95. Linen, like everything else, lasts longer at lower temperatures. Optical brighteners are the real enemy here: they bleach natural colours and would leave the dark grey looking washed out. Keep the load light enough for the tablecloth to move. Then spin it gently, and not for long. Enough residual moisture keeps creases soft. To iron, choose the linen setting at full heat and press while the fabric still holds a trace of damp.
