The KlimaControl Fair winter duvet from HEFEL encloses a filling of pure TENCEL in a cover of fairly traded cotton. Warmth is only part of its work. TENCEL also balances temperature and moisture, so the bed stays dry even when the night grows heavy. Behind the cotton stands the FAIRTRADE seal, which secures fair prices and a sustainable future for the farmers who grow it. Thus a warm winter night and a fair trade belong together here, without either needing an explanation.

Fair cotton, Austrian workmanship
In Austria, HEFEL has carried its craft through several generations as a family business. KlimaControl Fair is the warmest duvet of the Fair line, and so it asks for particular care. The house makes each one on its own and checks it before it leaves, since only then does it meet its own standard. A close, body-hugging quilting holds the TENCEL filling in place. It also spreads the warmth evenly from shoulder to foot. When the FAIRTRADE cotton cover finally lies on the bed, a piece of HEFEL workmanship lies there with it.

Description

KlimaControl Fair, TENCEL filling under FAIRTRADE cotton

The cover shows how FAIRTRADE works: the cotton comes from fair trade, and its growers receive fair prices for it. Inside, the TENCEL filling keeps the warmth on cold nights while it regulates moisture as well. Because the fine cover draws that moisture away, the bed stays dry. The BodyFit quilting then settles against the body like a second skin. HEFEL fills the duvet with 535 grams per square metre, so it insulates well even in frost. Over the years it keeps its shape, and the filling retains its warmth. You will find it among the HEFEL winter duvets in our shop.

Care

Wash KlimaControl Fair at 60 degrees whenever the bed asks for freshness. Then let the tumble dryer finish the work, since it loosens the filling again. HEFEL has had the duvet dermatologically tested, so it also suits sensitive sleepers and people with a house dust allergy. Between seasons, keep it somewhere airy rather than compressed. In return it holds its warmth and carries you through every cold night.
