Pure Maize all-season comforter from HEFEL
Maize, a renewable plant fibre, fills the Pure Maize all-season comforter from HEFEL. The fibre evens out temperature, and because nothing animal goes into it, the comforter is vegan. Its cover is a TENCEL fine satin finished with nanofibril technology, which regulates moisture with quiet precision. The sleeping climate therefore stays balanced in every season. It is a comforter with the lightness of a summer field, carried into the colder months.

A plant-based comforter, sewn in Austria
Pure Maize leaves an Austrian workshop where the same family has set the course for several generations. It is the vegan, plant-based comforter of the Pure line. Individual making matters here, because HEFEL checks each comforter by hand. The BodyFit body quilting then fits Pure Maize to the body and keeps the fibre evenly distributed. As a result, warmth reaches every part of the comforter. With it comes the care of a family firm, translated into a fibre that grows again each year.

Maize fibre, the filling

Thanks to the BodyFit quilting, the maize fibre spreads evenly from one side to the other. The comforter tolerates a 60 degree wash, and it suits anyone with a house dust allergy. Pure Maize holds the sleeping climate steady through the year. Its cover feels pleasant, and it also transports moisture dependably. Hence the comforter rests lightly and settles around the body without weight. With good care it serves for many years, so it proves its worth with time. It sits within the HEFEL all-season duvet selection, the plant-based answer among the natural fills.

Care

Wash Pure Maize at 60 degrees, then hand it over to the tumble dryer. Drying in the machine keeps the filling loose and airy. Because dermatologists have tested it, the comforter also suits sensitive sleepers. Give it an airy place in storage, so it holds its volume. Over time it becomes a dependable comforter that asks for little.
