135x200 cm is the most popular bedding size in Germany — and the entry point to our linen collection. It fits single beds from 80 to 120 cm wide and works as a pair set on double beds from 140 cm. Which beds does 135x200 fit?

Single bed 90x200 cm: The duvet falls approximately 22 cm over each side — the classic, tidy look. This is the standard combination in German households and the configuration most hotels use for single rooms.
Single bed 100–120x200 cm: Less overhang, but body-close. Ideal for sleepers who like to wrap the duvet tightly around themselves. On a 120 cm bed, a 135 cm duvet barely overhangs — those who want a more generous fall should consider 155x220.
Double bed 140–160x200 cm (as a pair set): Two 135x200 duvets side by side — each person gets their own duvet with their own sleep climate. On a 140 cm bed, the duvets overlap slightly in the middle. This pair set solution is the most popular double bed configuration in Germany: individual temperature regulation, no nightly tug-of-war.
For persons over 185 cm who regularly pull the duvet off their feet, we recommend the comfort size 155x220.

The perfect linen set for a single bed

Classic (timeless): One linen pillowcase in 80x80 cm leaned against the headboard, a linen fitted sheet in 90x200 and a bedspread in 180x260 cm with overhang on three sides. The 80x80 pillow fills the width of a 90 cm bed and creates a plush, inviting look.
Modern (flat, minimal): One pillowcase 40x80 cm lying flat. Less volume, ergonomically better for neck and spine, Scandinavian clean. Bedspread 150x260, draped only over the duvet.
Layered (hotel look): One 80x80 leaned against the headboard, one 40x80 in front of it. The two sizes create depth — the luxury hotel look translated to a single bed.
