Description

“Caroline Buttons Linen Bedding by Geniksa”

Caroline Buttons Linen Bedding by Geniksa. Grey is usually attributed a certain neutrality, yet as part of the Caroline Buttons linen bedding it becomes a bedroom experience. This classically cut bedding always makes a fine impression, even when the bed remains unmade. The handmade closure buttons from coconut shells on the closure sides create a charming contrast. 100 percent finest washed linen.

European Organic Linen

Linen bedding lets your skin breathe better. When it comes to our skin, linen is the perfect fabric. Due to its long, smooth fibres, linen absorbs a lot of moisture and repels dirt. Linen is an intelligent fabric because it balances temperatures. Linen provides pleasant coolness in summer and cosy warmth in winter. The long linen fibres ensure that linen bedding stays fresh much longer. The linen fabric has been treated purely mechanically, making it very soft and skin-friendly. Linen treated in this way wrinkles less while preserving the naturalness and all the benefits of linen. Geniksa is deeply committed to organic linen and unconditional sustainability in all manufacturing steps. Geniksa linen bedding is certified according to the Oeko-Tex Standard 100.

The Weaving Mill

The simple, almost purist style that Geniksa employs in the production of its linen is owed to a love of nature, as pure linen proves itself through its visual presence and unmistakable texture. All fabrics by Geniksa carry the coveted “Masters of Linen” label. This guarantees that the fabrics have been tested to the extremely high standards of this master class and that they are manufactured exclusively in Europe. “Eco Line” and “Oeko-Tex” provide the assurance that Geniksa fabrics are free from harmful substances and have not been chemically treated, bleached or dyed.

As bed sheets, we recommend the fine linen flat sheets and fitted sheets from Geniksa.

Care Instructions

Coloured linen can be washed at up to 60°C, white linen at up to 95°C. As with all materials, the same applies to linen: washing at lower temperatures makes it last longer. What linen cannot tolerate are detergents with optical brighteners, which strongly bleach the natural colours and make the fabric pale. Wrinkles: Linen needs sufficient residual moisture so it doesn’t wrinkle as much. Don’t overload the machine so the fabric can move freely, and don’t spin linen too hard or too long. If you want to iron linen, iron the pieces on the hot linen setting of your iron while they are still slightly damp.
