Description

European organic linen

Linen bed linen allows the skin to breathe better. When it comes to our skin, linen is the perfect fabric. Due to its long, smooth fibers, linen absorbs a lot of moisture and repels dirt. Linen is an intelligent fabric because linen balances out temperatures. Linen ensures a pleasant coolness in summer and creates cozy warmth in winter. The long linen fibers ensure that linen bed linen stays fresh for much longer. The linen fabric has been treated purely mechanically and is therefore very soft and skin-friendly. Linen treated in this way creases less and retains the naturalness and all the advantages of linen. Geniksa is deeply committed to organic linen and to unconditional sustainability in all stages of production. Geniksa linen bedding is certified according to Oeko Tex Standard 100.

Care Instructions

Coloured linen can be washed at up to 60°C, and white linen at up to 95°C. As with all fabrics, the same applies to linen: washing at a lower temperature helps it last longer. Linen does not tolerate detergents containing optical brighteners, as these severely fade the natural colours and the fabric becomes pale. Creasing: Linen needs to retain sufficient moisture to prevent excessive creasing. Do not overfill the machine so that the fabric can move around; do not spin-dry linen too vigorously or for too long. If you wish to iron linen, iron the items on the highest heat setting of your iron whilst they are still slightly damp.
