Five sizes to suit any room

60x85 cm — A rug for the bathroom, bedroom or hallway. Compact, yet noticeable: the feel of linen underfoot when you get out of bed is a different experience to cotton or synthetics.

80x130 cm — Bedside rug or a small accent in the living room. Fits in front of a reading chair or under a side table.

140x200 cm — Medium size. Defines an area in the living room or dining room without covering the entire room.

170x240 cm — Under the dining table, under the coffee table, in the bedroom in front of the bed. The most versatile size.

240x300 cm — Living room rug. Covers the central area and visually anchors the sofa group and coffee table.

Material and character

Libeco rugs feel cool in summer and warm in winter — the same temperature-regulating effect as with bed linen, but underfoot. Flax fibre is more durable than wool and easier to care for than synthetics: no pilling, no shedding, no static build-up.

The colours — warm ochre, sand, muted petrol, brown — are mottled and textured. Small signs of everyday wear are visually absorbed into the natural texture. A Libeco rug looks well-maintained even in a family home, because the colour scheme integrates imperfections rather than highlighting them.

The weight of a Libeco rug keeps it flat on the floor — anti-slip underlays are generally not necessary.

Care

Vacuum regularly using a brush attachment. Blot up stains immediately and treat with lukewarm water and mild soap. If exposed to strong sunlight, turn the rug occasionally to allow for even fading.
