Which pillow size fits your bed?

80x80 cm — the German classic. Square, voluminous, leaned against the headboard. Fills the entire width on a 90 cm bed.
40x80 cm — modern and ergonomic. Lying flat, slim, Scandinavian reduced. Orthopedically recommended — head lies flatter, cervical spine stays aligned.
65x65 cm — the Swiss standard. Matching linen bed linen 160x210.
50x70 / 50x75 cm — international sizes. Common in Scandinavia and the USA.

Oxford hem, hotel fold or zip?

Oxford hem: Surrounding raised border of 3–5 cm. Signature of premium bedding. Libeco and Hoffmann.
Hotel fold: Back overlaps without buttons or zip — invisible, clean. Geniksa and Vieböck.
Zip: Practical, secure, quick to change.

The pillowcase set — colours and combinations

A linen cushion cover looks its best as part of a matching set. All the manufacturers in our range offer cushion covers in the same colours and designs as their duvet covers — from the Libeco Heritage line and Geniksa’s Arctica series to Hoffmann’s classic hemstitched designs.

For a lively look, combine two different sizes: 80x80 placed at the back, 40x80 lying at the front. Or mix two shades from the same series — such as white and natural, or sand and light grey. Care and other categories

Linen cushion covers are cared for in the same way as all linen bed linen: 60°C for coloured covers, 95°C for white ones. No fabric softener is required. The fabric becomes softer with every wash. You can find detailed tips under Care & Durability.

As well as pure linen cushion covers, we also offer cushion covers in half-linen (softer from the very first night) and silk bed linen (minimal friction on skin and hair). A linen fitted sheet as a base completes the sleep system.
